Landlord Billing & Payment
Starbucks Store Number:
Starbucks uses a unique 5-digit store number to differentiate stores (Store #00000). Store number references can also be found on most Starbucks communications to landlords, including rent checks, estoppel certificates and legal notices.
Request for Payment:
General correspondence, invoices, NNN adjustments and annual reconciliations can be sent to us via the Legal Notice Address in the Lease or emailed to Financial Lease Administration. All request must contain reasonable detail for the outstanding charges. Starbucks may request additional backup documentation in order to process payment. Payment requests may take up to 30 days or longer depending on the Lease requirements.
Initial New Store Rent Process:
Initial new store payment may take up to 30 days or as stated in your lease after the Starbucks Store has opened – contingent that all Lease requirements have been met. Starbucks will send you a “Date Certificate” to the Legal Notice Address to confirm important dates and other information. These items include possession date, rent commencement date, square footage, and any contingencies.
Once you have confirmed the Date Certificate information is accurate, please return a signed copy to the notice address or via email.
Utility and Trash Reimbursement:
All utility, trash or request for payment must contain reasonable detail of the outstanding charges, including (1) dates of consumption (2) rate per unit (3) actual consumption by Starbucks and (4) copies of the service invoice.
