The entity name on the 1099 is incorrect
The 1099 is generated based on the W9 Landlord provided. Please reach out to DL-1099Inquiry@starbucks.com with any questions.
The entity name changed during the last calendar year and the new entity name is not reflected on the 1099
Starbucks requires written notice of a change in ownership from the “Seller” to the Legal Notice Address in the Lease. To mitigate potential risks of fraud, in addition to written notice, Starbucks requires the following:
- W-9 in the name of the new owner.
- Assignment of Lease, Grant Deed, Deed of Trust, stating the names of the prior and new owner, that has been signed by both the prior owner and the new owner.
If ownership information was previously submitted, please reach out to DL-1099Inquiry@starbucks.com with any questions.
The amount on the 1099 is incorrect
The 1099 reflects payment according to the date they were issued by Starbucks, not necessarily the month that was paid/processed. For example, January rent is paid by Starbucks in December (issued during the preceding month/year). Please incorporate the date of issuance in your review as it may affect the total amount reflected on the 1099 due to adjustments to rent schedules or taxes.
